Here at Charlotte's Folly, the concept of 'party plan' has been given a make-over.
We believe that a shopping party should be a fun, social event where your friends and family can browse gorgeous goods at their leisure without having to endure lengthy demonstrations, battle with pushy sales staff and an face an overwhelming obligation to purchase expensive goods.
We do things differently here!
The shopping party can be held just about anywhere - a table or two is the minimum space needed but I can fill a school hall if required!
You can invite as many, or as few, guests as you wish - however, a minimum number of 8-10 guests is recommended.
There is no lengthy demonstration - your guests will be given a card when they arrive which explains a little about Charlotte's Folly. They are then free to browse the products ,which are sourced mainly from the UK and the USA, and are inspired by rustic charm, vintage homeware and shabby chic styles.
No one is obligated to make a puchase. I will not push for sales or make someone feel uncomfortable if they have not bought anything. However, as my products range from £1 to £50 there is something to suit all pockets.
Best of all there is no ordering system - instead of waiting two weeks for their purchases your friends will take away their goodies on the night! Occasionally several of your guests may all want to buy the same item - in this case, and providing the items are in stock customers can arrange to have it delivered, free of charge, within a few days.
Book a shopping party today and within the week you will receive a Folly Pack - this contains information about your upcoming event, invitations for you to distribute to your party goers, and a free gift by way of a thank you.
A few days before the event you will receive a phone call to confirm that all the arrangements are in place.
On the day of the event I will need to arrive at the venue 60 to 90 minutes before the start time in order to set up.
In the past year I have encountered countless reasons why people have decided to throw a Charlotte's Folly Party - these include girly get-togethers, fundraising for charities and local schools, and getting to know people in the community after moving to a new area.
